Welcome to KEYSAVER, a simple, but powerful, concept that increases productivity and decreases misspelled words and other typos.{E}
{E}
This text is being auto-typed by KEYSAVER in response to triggering KEYSAVER by momentarily holding the CTRL+ALT shift key combination.{E}
{E}
REMEMBER TO TRIGGER KEYSAVER AFTER RESPONDING TO A PROMPT. This causes the next boiler plate text to be auto-typed for you.{E}

Dear {TYPE YOUR FIRST NAME and TRIGGER KEYSAVER AGAIN (strike CTRL+ALT)}:{E}
{E}
Your name is unique and could not be part of the boiler plate text. Hence, this template caused KEYSAVER to: (1) suspend boiler plate typing, (2) prompt for the manual entry of this unique text (your first name), and (3) resume auto-typing when triggered. Since KEYSAVER does not know when the typing of unique text has been completed -- it could be as long as several paragraphs or as short as a single character -- you must trigger KEYSAVER when you are ready to resume the automatic typing of boiler plate text.{E}

The KEYSAVER concept is simple.{E}
{E}
Template files have a single character name and a ".TPL" extension. Template files consist of sets of boiler plate and prompt text strings. Prompt strings are enclosed in braces ({B}}) and delimit boiler plate text.{E}
{E}
Triggering KEYSAVER: (1) auto-types the next boiler plate, and (2) displays the next prompt. The prompt disappears with the next keystroke. At the prompt, you have the total capabilities of your word processor to insert text and/or modify the existing (boiler plate and manually entered) text.{E}
{E}
This template auto-types both DOS and word processor input. Normally, a template is designed to produce a specific letter, or part of a letter, and is used by: (1) holding the trigger until a template ID is requested, (2) striking the single character ID (.TPL file name), (3) responding to each prompt by manually inputting unique text and triggering to resume boiler plate auto-typing.{E}
